My favorite easy breakfast recipe are my homemade pancakes! A simple and delicious way to start off any day. You can fancy it up with some berries or keep it plain.
My Famous Homemade Pancakes
makes 4 servings
· 2 cups flour
· Buttermilk (2 teaspoons white vinegar in a 1 cup measurer and the rest filled with milk)
· 2 eggs
· 3 tablespoons sugar
· ¼ cup unsalted butter (melted)
· 1 pinch of salt
· 1 teaspoon baking soda
· ½ teaspoon baking powder
· 2 teaspoons vanilla.
1. In a medium sized bowl combine all the dry ingredients and whisk together. Start mixing in the eggs, milk, vanilla, and melted butter.
2. When mixed completely (with no lumps) preheat the stovetop to medium high heat. Butter the pan and put on ¼ cup of pancake batter. When the pancake gets bubbles on the top of it flip! When the other side is golden brown take off the stove and onto a plate. Enjoy with maple syrup or just butter!
