garlic butter gnocchi

yay! it's friday!! to start off the weekend i made garlic butter gnocchi (potato noodles). gnocchi is sooo good especially when the outside is golden brown, with a little bit of crispiness, then the inside is chewy and soft... aaaahhhhh. butter and garlic are just simple ingredients that i like to put on my gnocchi, but it is so versatile, that so much different things will work!


serves 3

16 oz of gnocchi

1/2 stick of butter

1 tbls of minced garlic

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper


1. in a pot of boiling water, boil the gnocchi for about 3 minutes

2. in a large saucepan melt the butter on medium high heat.

3. add in the gnocchi, minced garlic, salt, and pepper, turning up the heat to high heat.

4. spoon the gnocchi around in circles to get all of the sides evenly golden brown (10 to 12 minutes)

5. take off the heat, sprinkle a bit of freshly graded parm, and voila!
