mini waffles

i love to start basically any day with a nice fresh fluffy batch of WAFFLES!! which is why i decided to share my fave recipe with you.. these will be having you go back for seconds! (i promise, pinky swear) i bought this waffle iron on target.com and didnt really read further into details. which is why i have a mini waffle iron.... but nevertheless it's cuteeeee


serves 4


1 1/2 cup flour

3 teaspoons baking powder

1/4 cup butter (melted)

2 eggs

1 1/4 cup milk

2 tablespoons sugar

1/2 teaspoon salt


1. heat up that waffle iron!!

2. whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. set aside

3. in a medium size bowl whisk together the eggs, milk, butter, and sugar

4. slowly pour in the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients 1/2 at a time. fold the batter together with a rubber spatula

5. place about 1/4 cup of batter into the iron and close the lid

6. wait about 2-3 minutes

7. serve with some syrup or a nice dollop of whip cream and berries!
